Each penetration test in RedVeil is a point-in-time assessment, meaning a new test must be created for each run. Tests cannot be rerun once they have completed.
This design ensures that each test accurately reflects the state of the target at the time it was performed.

To make repeat testing easier, RedVeil includes a "copy" test feature that allows you to duplicate an existing test configuration. This lets you quickly create a new test without re-entering scope details, authentication information, or other setup data.
If your goal is to confirm that a previously identified vulnerability has been fixed, RedVeil also provides one-click remediation validation for all findings, allowing you to verify fixes without relying on a full re-test.
